Main eid jamaat at National Eidgah at 8:30am
The main eid jamaat (congregation) of the holy Eid-ul Azha will be held at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises in the capital at 8:30am tomorrow.
In case of inclement weather, the main jamaat will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 9:00am, says an official handout.
Like previous years, separate prayer arrangements for women have been made at one side of the National Eidgah with a separate entrance.
At Baitul Mukarram, five eid jamaats will be held starting from 7:00am.
Two jamaats will be held at the Dhaka University Central mosque at 8:00am and 9:00am while eid jamaats will also be held at Salimullah Hall mosque and Shahidullah Hall Lawn at 8:00am. If the weather allows, a jamaat will be held at Buet playground.
An eid jamaat will also be held at Basir Uddin Road Jame Mosque at 8:00am.
Besides, other eid jamaats will be held under local arrangements.
EID MESSAGES
President Zillur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, in separate eid messages yesterday, greeted the people of Bangladesh.
