Traditional boat race

The mighty Meghna River and its bank buzz with activity as 40 boats from different districts prepare for the traditional boat race, starting from Charsubuddi union in Raipura upazila under Narsingdi district on Tuesday. The boat of Mannan Chairman of Brahmanbaria district became champion and that of Hiron Miah of Bhairab district became runners up in the entertaining contest organised by Charsubuddi union parishad.
