Reception to elderly people
Two hundred and seventy elderly people were accorded reception here on Tuesday, a day after the Eid day. Al-Insaf Samaj Kalyan Parishad, a local organisation, organised the function at Roghunathpur village under Shibalaya upazila. All of them were honoured and presented gifts. The elderly people expressed their happiness for showing respect to them. They said that today's society was almost forgetting the contribution and value of senior citizens. The programme was rounded up with a cultural function.
