Weeklong agitation begins in Sylhet for finding Ilias Ali
A 501-member committee Ilias mukti Chhatra Sangram Parishad yesterday began a weeklong agitation for finding BNP leader Ilias Ali.
They also demanded release of BNP and Jamaat activists arrested for the agitation and immediate arrest of Bangladesh Chhatra League men for burning the Government MC College hostel.
The agitation programme started yesterday with a human chain formed at the Sylhet Central Shaheed Minar and will include a procession in Shahporan Police Station areas on July 13, a procession and rally at Government MC College on July 15, a human chain at Sylhet Law College on July 16, and a rally at Court point area on July 17.
The next course of action would be announced on the last day.
