House robbery in Ctg
A gang of robbers looted 100 tolas of gold, Tk 3.5 lakh and six mobile phone sets, impersonating themselves law enforcers, from a residence in Pahartali area in Chittagong city in the early hours of yesterday.
Mamunur Rashid said around 15 people, posing themselves as policemen, came to his house around 3:00am and asked them to open the gate.
When they opened the gate the miscreants looted their valuables and money confining them to the washroom, Mamunur added.
A case was filed with Pahartali Police Station in this connection.
