Schoolgirl killed after rape
Criminals killed a schoolgirl after rape at Barabaria village in Chitalmari upazila on Friday. The deceased, Zakia Sultana, 10, daughter of Abdul Kader Mollah of Natun Ghoshgathi village in Mollahat upazila, was a class four student. Locals said the girl came to her grandfather's house on Thursday and went missing on Friday morning. On Saturday evening, locals found Zakia's body in an abandoned house of Nazir Sheikh in Maddhyapara area and informed the police. Later, the law enforcers recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. Chitalmari police said criminals abducted the girl and killed her after rape.
