One killed in gas cylinder blast
A man was killed and five others were injured as a gas cylinder exploded at Uchaliapara village in Sarail upazila yesterday
The deceased was identified as Badal, 30, a mechanic and son of Samir Das of Kalikosser village of the upazila.
Locals said repair work on a refrigerator was going on at the house of Chan Mia at noon. Suddenly, the gas cylinder, brought for repairing the refrigerator, exploded with a big bang, leaving Badal, his assistant Nazrul and four members of the house injured.
