Poacher held with venison
Forest officials arrested a poacher along with 250 grams of venison from C&B Bazar area in Sadar upazila on Tuesday evening.
The arrestee was identified as Md Hazral Ali Sardar, 57, of Shreefolkathi village under Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira district.
Mihir Kanti, divisional forest officer of east zone, said acting on a tip-off, they raided the area and arrested Ali along with the venison.
He was yesterday produced before a court that sent him to jail.
