Two Hizb-ut men arrested
Police arrested two activists of Hizb-ut-Tawhid from in front of the local residence of State Minister for Religious Affairs advocate Shahjahan Mia in Patuakhali town on Tuesday night.
The arrestees are Hannan Mridha, 28 of Kalatala area in Patuakhali town, and Jasim Uddin, 25 of Balloppur village under Sadar upazila of the district.
Police said they arrested the two while they were distributing leaflets at around 9:00pm. Police yesterday produced the arrestees in a court that sent them to jail.
