Drug peddler jailed
A mobile court here on Monday sentenced a young man to six months' imprisonment for possessing drugs. The convict is Ibrahim, 25, son of Habibul Bashar of Chaowliapatti area of the town. Sources said police arrested Ibrahim from Kanchan Bridge area along with the drugs in the afternoon. Later, he was produced before the mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Abdur Rahman who handed down the verdict.
