7 rescued from traffickers
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) yesterday rescued seven people, including a woman and three children, while they were being trafficked to India through Putkhali Border. BGB-26 Camp Commander Samsur Rahman said on secret information, they raided the area in the morning and rescued the victims. Sensing the presence of the BGB men, the traffickers fled the scene. Later, the seven were handed over to Benapole police.
