10 freed from traffickers
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) rescued 10 people, including two women, while they were being trafficked to India through Putkhali border here early yesterday.
All the rescued people hailed from Gouranadi upazila of Barisal district.
An alleged member of the human trafficking gang, Tumpa Rani, wife of Suken Halder of Mymensingh district, was also arrested.
