Under trial prisoner dies
An under trail prisoner died at Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital on Saturday night. The dead was identified as Md. Abdus Salam 50, son of late Belayet Hossain of Gopalganj under Dinajpur Sadar upazila. Md. Aslam Iqbal, officer in-charge of Dinajpur police station, quoting jail authorities, said Aslam was hospitalised at jail hospital after he fell sick on Friday night. Later he was shifted to Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital on Saturday morning where he died at around 11.30pm.
