Cop killed in road crash
A police sub-inspector, who was seriously injured when he was hit by a bus on Friday morning, succumbed to his injuries at a city hospital yesterday.
A bus of Prochesta Paribahan hit Ali Haider Sharif, 45, in front of the office of Group 4 in Narda Kalachandpur area in the city at around 10:30am, leaving him injured critically, according to a press release.
He was admitted to United Hospital, where he died at 2:30pm yesterday.
