Porter run over by train, dies
A porter died after being run over by an intercity train at Rajshahi Railway Station yesterday.
The deceased Piarul Islam, 30, son of Moslem Uddin of Char Satbaria under the city's Motihar Police Station, slipped and fell while trying to board the Rajshahi-bound Padma Express Train around 6:00am, said railway police.
