BNP seeks permission for March 12 rally's venue
Expecting the government's sincere cooperation, the main opposition BNP sought permission from the authorities concerned to hold a rally either at Paltan Maidan or Manik Mia Avenue or before the party's Nayapaltan office in the city on March 12.
Besides, BNP started preparing to make the rally a success. As per decision, BNP volunteers will receive the party supporters at around 18 entry points of the city that day.
A total of 45 teams led by the party's central leaders are now going across the country to drum up public support for the rally “March towards Dhaka”.
