Sust exams suspended till Jan 26
Examinations at the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) have been suspended till January 26, Registrar Ishfaqul Hossain said yesterday.
Classes and other academic activities, however, would continue as usual, he said, adding that the decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the academic council yesterday with Vice Chancellor Prof Md Saleh Uddin in the chair.
The academic council also asked a seven-member committee to work for ending the ongoing crisis that appeared after the atavists of Bangladesh Chhatra League and Islami Chhatra Shibir clashed on the campus recently.
