Housewife murdered
A housewife was hacked to death by criminals in the district on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Aloka Rani Roy, 27, wife of Uttam Kumar Roy of Muradpur village in Sadar upazila. Police quoting family members said, Aloka came out of his room Sunday midnight to respond to nature's call. A gang swooped on her and attacked with sharp weapons injuring Aloka seriously. Hearing her cry, family members and locals rescued her and took her to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries in the morning.
