<i> To escape arrest</i>
A youth who jumped from the rooftop of a six-storied hotel in the city to avoid police arrest on Tuesday died on way to hospital.
The deceased was identified as Shayamol, 28, a resident of Shikdar Bari area and call man of Parabat launch company.
Police said, they raided Hotel Bahadur at Fazlul Huq Avenue to nab sex workers and their clients.
In a bid to avoid arrest, Shayamol went the rooftop of the adjacent six-storied Hotel Golden Tower and jumped on the road from there.
Fatally injured, he died on way to hospital.
