Mystery shrouds death of housewife

Mystery has shrouded the death of Kamona Rani Saha, 23, wife of Bhromor Chandra Saha at Panjankhara village in Sadar upazila of the district.
Kamona's family members said she was killed in a planned was by her husband and in-laws yesterday.
On the other side, family members of Bhromor said Kamona hanged herself from the ceiling of her house.
However, police found some marks of injuries on her body.
Reba Saha, mother-in-law of the victim, said Kamona hanged herself with the help of a sari around 8:00 am.
Hearing her screams, locals rushed to the spot and took her to nearby Sahera Hasan Memorial Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.
Family sources said Kamona, daughter of Kalicharan Saha of Dhusar-Kalibari village under Shibalaya upazila was married to Bhromor Chandra Saha, son of Gobondra Chandra Saha of Panjankhara village in Sadar upazila, seven years ago when she was only 16 years old.
Victim's brother Laxman Saha said, family members of Bhromor including Reba Saha and Chanchal Saha started torturing Kamona after two years of her marriage over triffle issues.
"They killed my sister and later hung her body from the ceiling of the house", he alleged.
Laxman said, her sister called him over cellphone yesterday morning and on Friday night and requested him to take her to her father's house.
Bhromor Saha and Chanchal, however, denied the allegation brought against them and the members of their family.
Contacted, sub inspector Kamal Hossain, also investigation officer in the case said, Kamona's body bore two marks of injuries. The body has been sent to Manikganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, the IO said.
