Answer scripts of Bangla second paper of the ongoing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examinations under Dhaka Education Board were found lying beside Dhaka-Aricha highway at Uchutia in Manikganj on Wednesday. Ansar and VDP members found a sack containing two bundles of answer scripts in front of their office at around 5:30pm and informed the deputy commissioner (DC). Deputy Commissioner (DC) Munshi Shahabuddin Ahmed immediately sent Chowdhry Samia Zaman, assistant commissioner (land) of Manikganj Sadar upazila, to the Ansar and VDP office. The assistant commissioner along with the officer-in-charge of Manikganj Sadar Police Station reached the Ansar VDP office at Uchutia at around 5:45pm, received the answer scripts and took them to the district treasury office. Tapan Kumer Sarker, deputy controller of examinations of Dhaka Education Board, came to Manikganj yesterday morning and received the answer scripts from the deputy commissioner. When contacted, the deputy controller said answer scripts of Bangla second paper were distributed among the examiners on April 19. After investigation, the board authorities will take necessary actions against the person responsible, he added.
