Human chain in Natore
Sushasoner Janno Nagorik (Sujon), Ain-o-Shalish Kendra and Konna Shishu Advocacy Forum jointly organised a human chain in front of Natore Press Club yesterday demanding implementation of Women Development Policy of 1997. Addressing a rally at the same place the speakers urged the government to take urgent steps in this regard to ensure gender equality in the society. The female leaders at the rally said, democracy cannot be established without ensuring women's rights in the country. They also urged the progressive forces to stay united against repression on woman and press the government for implementation of the policy without further delay.
