Man to die for killing wife
A court here on Tuesday awarded capital punishment to a man for killing his wife. The condemned convict is Mujibur Rahman of Badoir village in Kosba upazila. According to prosecution, Hena Begum, wife of Mujibur, was killed at Badoir village in Kosba upazila in 2005. Police submitted a charge sheet before a court on filing of a case. After examining records and witnesses, Shamsunnahar Begum, judge of Woman and Child Repression Prevention Court, handed down the verdict.
