Girl commits suicide
A 13-year-old girl committed suicide by taking poison at Paikara village in Kaliganj upazila on March 27. The victim, Sharifa Khatun, 13, was daughter of Abdul Aziz of Paikara village. Quoting locals police said, Sharifa took poison following a family trouble. She died on way to Kaliganj upazila health complex. After taking permission from the district magistrate, the victim's parents buried her without performing post mortem.
