JMB militant held
A suspected militant of banned Islamist outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) was arrested in the district town yesterday. The arrestee is identified as Mahmud Hassan, 30, of Pathartola village in Sadar upazila. Officer-in-Charge of Pabna Sadar Police Station Md Enayet Uddin said they received complaints against Hassan for organising several militant groups in the district. Moreover, the arrestee's uncle Mahedi is one of the top leaders of the outfit, the OC added.
