Drug peddler jailed
A mobile court on Saturday sentenced a drug peddler to one year's imprisonment in Nayagola area under Chapainawabganj municipality.
The convict is Mohammad Kainat Ali, 35, son of Mohammad Rupchand of Ramkrishnapur area of Chapainawabganj town. Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) conducted a drive in Nayagola area at around 11:30pm caught Kainat with drugs. Later, the mobile court led by Sadar Upazila Nirbahi (UNO0 Officer Monirul Islam Patwary handed down the verdict.
