One killed over land dispute
A man was stabbed to death over land dispute at Muradpur village in Baniachang upazila of Habiganj district yesterday. The dead is Dewan Khan, 55. Police arrested 13 for their alleged involvement in the killing.
Contacted, Baniachang police said the deceased had a long standing dispute over a plot of land near Muradpur Bazar with Jhangu Miah and his brothers of the same village.
