Three outlaws arrested
Three operatives of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) Red Flag faction was arrested at Krishnapur village of Ataikula yesterday.
The outlaws are Altaf Hossain, 23, Md. Saidur Rahman, 32, and Shafikul Islam, 42, of Krishnapur village under Ataikula police station in the district.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Ataikula police station Md Habibul Islam said, acting on a tip- off, a police team raided Krishnapur water body area yesterday morning where the criminals were holding a secret meeting.
During raid, police caught three of them while the rest managed to flee.
