Two children drown
Two children drowned in a pond at Hatiadah village in Gobindaganj upazila yesterday. They are Moyna, 7, daughter of Ramzan Ali of Gandhabbari village and Ria Moni, 6, daughter of Rezaul Karim of Hatiadah village. The two children, who were cousins by relations, fell in a pond near their house while playing on its bank in the morning. They were rushed to local hospital where the doctors declared them dead.
