Housewife raped in Thakurgaon
A housewife was raped at Paikpara village under Sadar upazila on Wednesday evening.
Victim and wife of Rafiqul Islam of the same village told this correspondent yesterday at Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital that Joynul,38, son of late Dariman of Pashchim Paikpara village asked her to wait near a wheat field while she was returning home after irrigating her boro field at about 7:30pm.
All of a sudden Poigam,35, son of Bhurbhushu of Paikpara village under the same upazila appeared there from the wheat field.
Within minutes Poigam and Joinul tied up her mouth, dragged her inside the wheat field and raped her.
The victim also showed this correspondent several injury marks on different parts of her body including face.
