BSF tortures Bangladeshi
A Bangladeshi cattle trader was tortured by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Tentulbaria border point on Friday night.
Victim Mizanur Rahman, 35, is son of Shukur Ali of village Agrabhulat in Sharsha upazila under Jessore district.
Quoting locals Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources said a group of cattle traders while returning home from India on February 24 were chased by BSF men at Tentulbaria camp opposite to Rudrapur border in Sharsha upazila. They caught Mizanur, took him to the camp and tortured him mercilessly.
Later they left the victim on the shoal of the bordering river Ichhamati inside the Bangladesh territory at about 3:30 am yesterday.
