Outlaw held in Goalanda
Police in a drive arrested an activist of an outlawed party from Goalanda upazila bus stand area Tuesday night.
Arrestee Jinnat Sheikh, 30, is a member of outlawed Sarbahara Party, and son of Habib Sheikh of Bahir Bethuri village of the upazila.
Police said Kadam Ali, former leader of the outfit, was killed by his rivals following an internal dispute at Bethuri trawler ghat Saturday night.
Later, police recovered a pair of sandal of Jinnat from the spot. Victim's brother filed a murder case accusing Jinnat and unknown 10/12 other people in this connection.
