8 shops gutted
Eight shops were gutted in a devastating fire at Viadanga bazaar in Sribordi upazila Sunday morning. Fire service sources said, the fire originated from an electric short circuit at a shop at about 8:00am and soon engulfed seven adjacent shops of the market.
On information, fire fighters from Sadar upazila headquarters rushed to the spot and doused the fire with the help of local people.
