Drug peddler held
A drug peddler was arrested on Magura-Dhaka road near Palli Bidyut office for possessing 390 bottles of phensidyl yesterday. Acting on a tip-off, a team of detective branch of police raided a Nasimon, a locally devised unauthorized three-wheeler at noon. Police recovered the drug and arrested Nasimon driver Babul Molla, 25. Babul confessed to his involvement in drug peddling, police said. He said that he had brought the drug from Baghachar Sonaibari in Satkhira and taking it to Daulatdia Ghat (river terminal) in Goalanda, Rajbari.
