Math Olympiad in Manikganj
A Math Olympiad was held for the first time here yesterday.
SSC'70 Forum, Manikganj Nagorik Kalyan Parisad and Math Olympiad Manikganj jointly organised the event at Khan Bahadur Awlad Hossain Khan High School.
Additional deputy commissioner of Manikganj Mizanur Rahman was present as chief guest.
Among others, Prof Dr Md Kaikobad of Computer Science and Engineering Department of BUET, Bangladesh Math Olympiad Central Committee General Secretary Monir Hossain, its Manikganj district unit president Dr Sayeed Al Mamun attended.
About 196 students of 20 high schools of the district took part in the competition in two groups.
