Woman killed over land dispute
A woman was killed by rivals following a land dispute at Uttar Kapna village in Biswambhapur upazila Friday.
The victim was identified as Rawshanara, 40.
Witnesses said, Rawshanara's rivals Majid and his men went to a disputed land for cultivating land.
As Rawshanara tried to resist them, Majid and his supporters swooped on her. They hit her with a spade, leaving her dead on the spot.
On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
