Five business houses fined
A mobile court in a drive fined five business houses at Kanaipur bazaar in Sadar upazila on Tuesday. The mobile team led by executive magistrate Tariqul Islam aided by a team of Rab-8, BSTI officials and CAB representative conducted the drive at five business houses and realised a fine of Tk 90,000. They also filed five cases against the five business houses for not having BSTI license, using unapproved labels, selling adulterated food items and storing rotten wheat at a godown.
