Four arrested while being bribed in Dinajpur
Dinajpur Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday arrested red-handed a sub-registrar of Birganj upazila and three other employees while being bribed.
The arrestees were identified as sub-registrar Tapash Paul and his staff Jahangir Alam, Sukumar Roy and Foyzar Rahman.
ACC sources said, acting on a tip-off an ACC team aided by Rab members and led by Assistant Director Md Abdul Mazed yesterday raided the Birganj sub-registrar office and caught the four red-handed while they were taking Tk 14,000 as bribe from one Md Mominul Islam.
Later a case was filed with Birganj police station.
