Drug peddlers held
Police yesterday recovered 150 bottles of banned phynsidyl syrup and arrested 13 drug peddlers from Bhoberber and Boro Achra villages of Benapole. Officer-in-charge Abu Bakkar of Benapole police station said, on information they raided Bhoberber and Boro Achra villages and recovered the drug and arrested 13 people. The arrestees had been involved in drug peddling for many years, he added. All the arrestees hailed from the two villages.
