RU syndicate member
Prof M Shah Nowaz Ali was elected a syndicate member Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday. He was elected unopposed as the other deans of nine faculties of the university did not submit their nomination papers on the last day yesterday, said RU acting registrar Prof MA Bari, the returning officer of the election. Dr Shah Nowaz was elected a dean of Business Studies Faculty on April 12, 2010 for second term and he is vice president of RU Teachers Association (Ruta).
