Toxic mangoes seized
A mobile court on Saturday night seized around 2 thousand kilogram toxic mangoes worth about Tk 1 lakh from Dashuria bus stand area and arrested one person. Rab that aided the mobile court said, a truckload of toxic mangoes was going to Dhaka from Chuadanga district. The team halted the truck at Dashuria stand and found the chemically ripen mangoes. The mobile court seized the mangoes and arrested trader Md Jabbar Ali,40, son of Japar Mondol of village Chandrabas in Chuadanga district. The mangoes were later destroyed.
