Housewife murdered
Police yesterday recovered body of a housewife from a hotel room in Barisal.
The victim, identified as Nazma Jahir, 51, used to live in the hotel room with her husband Jahirul Islam, an engineer of the food and disaster management ministry.
Jahirul rented the room for the convenience of his job, police said.
When Nazma did not receive his call, Jahirul called his sister-in-law over to see what happened to her (Nazma). Nazma's sister rushed to the spot and found Nazma's body lying in a pool of blood.
