'Beauty Talk' — an event by Shayeree

Anusheh Shayeree, an architecture graduate and makeup artist, is on a mission. She wants to make sure that Bangladeshi women start loving their natural features; our 'phenotype' — features attributed to genetic factors. 

And being true to that goal, on 3 July, she gave a refreshing talk on the current trends. 

One might enlist for a lecture on makeup expecting only to come out with an endless list of expensive products necessary to make one look and feel good. Anusheh, however, reassured that such a 'wish list' is quite unnecessary. As the makeup guru put it — the moral of the session was to embrace one's own characteristics. One thing was clear that by the end of the day, ladies attending the event went home to spring clean their makeup bags. 

A lively Q & A followed marked by hearty participation from all attendees. Certificates were handed out to all registered participants, who can now also avail a 20 percent discount on her future workshops, or a 50 percent discount on services for a glamorous party makeup.
