Six more die of dengue, 983 hospitalised in a day

Four deaths reported from Dhaka North, one each in Dhaka South and Barishal division
At least six dengue patients died while 983 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00 today.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the deaths, four were reported from Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) areas, while one each in Dhaka South and Barishal division.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths this year rose to 269, while total cases rose to 66,423.
Currently, 2,740 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country, with 1,747 of them from outside Dhaka.
