5 die of dengue in a single day

At least five dengue patients died while 1,147 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00 today.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the deaths, four were reported from Dhaka division while one from Barishal division.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of dengue-related deaths this year rose to 288, while total cases rose to 72,822.

Currently, 3,082 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals across the country.
