Bangladesh reaches landmark of 1 crore Covid-19 vaccination registration

The number of people registering for Covid-19 vaccination through the Surokkha app in Bangladesh reached the 1 crore mark tonight.

An official from the Division of Information and Communication Technology confirmed to The Daily Star that a total of one crore people have registered for Covid-19 vaccine through the app.

The country resumed the vaccine registration process from July 8.

Bangladesh opened the registration process on January 26 but had to suspend the vaccine registration in early May due to vaccine shortages.
