Drive against illegal brick kilns on Turag river bank begins

The Department of Environment has launched a drive against illegal brick kilns on the banks of Turag river in Ashulia of Savar.

A team of DoE led by Executive Magistrate Tamzid Ahmed started the eviction drive at 12:00pm today near Ashulia Bazar area, our local correspondent said quoting Mossabber Hossen Md Rajib, assistant director (Dhaka district) of DoE.

The drive will continue till 6:00pm today, added the DoE official.
