The much-awaited biographical film “Michael”, based on the life of Michael Jackson, is finally set for a global release on April 24. After a long production journey, multiple delays, and widespread discussion, the film will arrive in theatres worldwide on the same day.

The film explores different phases of Michael Jackson’s life. It shows his childhood in a musical family, his early success with the Jackson 5, and his rise as a solo artiste who transformed global pop music. It also highlights the pressures of fame, intense media attention, and his lasting cultural impact.

Michael Jackson’s role is played by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson. His real-life connection to the singer has already created strong interest among audiences and critics.

The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Graham King. King’s earlier success with the film “Bohemian Rhapsody” has raised expectations for this project.

With a massive global fan base, the film is already a major topic of discussion. Many are eager to see how Jackson’s influence on music, dance, fashion, and pop culture is portrayed on screen.

There is also a possibility of the film being released in Bangladesh. Dhaka-based multiplex chain Star Cineplex has already shared promotional content about the film on its Facebook page.

Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, AGM of the company’s Media and Marketing Department, said they are interested in releasing the film in Bangladesh. However, the release will depend on approval from the censor board.

Overall, “Michael” is not just a biopic. It is expected to offer a new look at the life of one of the most influential artistes in pop culture history.
