Journalist attacked in Tangail

A journalist was injured in an attack by a group of people in Basail upazila of Tangail today.

The injured, Anayet Karim Bijoy, is local correspondent of Bangla Tribune.

Bijoy came under attack by a group of people when he was taking picture of construction work on a disputed land, said Habibur Rahman Habib, chairman of Kawaljani union parishad.  

Later, Bijoy was rescued and admitted to Tangail General Hospital for treatment, our Tangail correspondent reports quoting the chairman.
