Youth held over bus attack`

Police arrested a young man on Monday for his suspected link with Sunday's attack on a bus of Comilla University. The arrestee is Prasanta Saha, 25, son of Nibash Chandra Saha of Deshwali Potti area. Abdur Rob, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said a group of miscreants attacked a university bus in Jhautola area of the town early Sunday, leaving 25 students injured. Students of the university blocked the Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Monday, demanding punishment of those involved in the attack. They withdrew the blockade when Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan, additional superintendent of police, assured them of taking action within 24 hours.
